As founder and President, I am proud to bring to Word Processing Support Services a diverse and extensive resume of experience. Previous experience includes: 9 years with a large law firm in the financial district of Toronto, temporary positions in the office of Minister of Finance for Ontario and a scientist with Canada Centre for Inland Waters, through to short-term contracts with architects, engineers, banks, doctors, dentist, the City of Hamilton, CNCP Telecommunications and many more fields of work. This combination of experience has enabled me to broaden my skills-set and offer this background to my clients.
A Little History
My father was in business for himself for over 50 years and growing up in that environment set the stage for my own foray into entrepreneurship. After working for temporary agencies for a while, I decided to go into business for myself and thus started up Word Processing Support Services in 1988. Now, during my 20th year, I am proud to set up this website and offer resume and secretarial services to the citizens of Hamilton, Burlington and Stoney Creek.
Over the years, I have learned to adapt and "re-write" my services with the changing times and the advent of newer, more modern equipment. Working out of my home from 1988 through to 1992, prior to the onset of personal computers, resume services with typing, revisions and photocopying provided a source of repeat business . As business grew during the time from 1992 through to 2003, I moved into a formal office setting on King Street in downtown Stoney Creek. The proliferation of personal computers and the internet have brought with them new changes to my services. Technology, once again enabling me to move back to a home office while still providing the same access to quality service.
I look forward to what the future will bring and the opportunity
for new services, such as virtual secretary, that we are
investigating. At the same time, I am very proud of our history and
the service we have provided to the community
of Stoney Creek for the past 20 years. I look forward to meeting new people and new challenges in the future.
